The Conference Organizing Committee is pleased to announce a partnership with our colleagues at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to host a multi-day workshop in conjunction with CALCON 2011. The jointly organized workshop on “Global and Multi-Method Analysis of Macromolecular Interactions with SEDPHAT” is scheduled to convene over a three-day period immediately preceding the conference (i.e., Friday thru Sunday, June 10–12, 2011).
The instructional staff is comprised of renowned experts who will participate in both the Workshop and the CALCON 2011 Scientific Program. Hosting both events at a single location allows us to combine resources and offer an all-inclusive Conference/Workshop Registration Fee of $ 995 and $ 500 for participants and students, respectively.
We encourage conferees to avail themselves of this unique opportunity to participate in the first jointly organized workshop on Global Analysis of Macromolecular Interactions amidst the scenic splendor of Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu.
The workshop is aimed at researchers with prior experience in experimental biophysical methods and will review strategies for:
The workshop will introduce experimental aspects of ITC, AUC, and DLS while reviewing basic operation of the instruments, selection of buffers and detection systems, and experimental design considerations dependent on the system under study.
The workshop lectures will cover advanced topics of theory, data analysis, and experimental setup accompanied by practical computer exercises using the SEDPHAT software platform.
A unique feature of the workshop is the dedicated one-on-one sessions in which each participant's data is analyzed and discussed. Additional information regarding specific details of the workshop and SEDPHAT are available by visiting the following link:
